  • Acting in the best interest of our clients to negotiate with carriers and obtain competitive plan designs that are innovative and of the highest-quality
  • Gathering, analyzing and presenting detailed plan designs for consideration in the decision making process
  • Coordinating timely employee enrollment meetings, completing and submitting of all enrollment forms and related information
  • Assisting with employee benefit options on terminations of employees and covered dependents
  • Educating employees (and spouses when appropriate) on plan designs
  • Responding to benefit-related inquires from employees and covered dependents
  • Resolving enrollment and billing discrepancies
  • Planning, coordinating and participating in all meetings with the clients and carriers of choice
  • Providing assistance to employees and covered dependents with regard to any claims issues or payment questions
  • Coordination of grief counseling
  • Initiating and participating in regularly scheduled meetings with Human Resource personnel to address outstanding issues
  • Providing claims experience reports to Human Resource personnel for future planning and discussion
  • Supplying regular updates to clients of statutory and regulatory changes, including HIPAA and COBRA compliance, in addition to insurance trends and market conditions
